The east coast sure received a lot of Hollywood love last night.
On Wednesday evening, some of music’s biggest acts and Hollywood’s brightest stars came together for the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief at Madison Square Garden.
The concert raised money to benefit those on the east coast who were affected by superstorm Sandy in October.
Among the performers were Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, The Who, Paul McCartney, Kanye West, and more. Stars like Blake Lively, Katie Holmes, and Kristen Stewart also stopped by to bring awareness to the devastation and destruction.
With one amazing lineup, there were so many memorable moments, but we’ve gathered our top five. Check ‘em out:
Adam Sandler’s “Hallelujah” SpinWhat better way to get someone’s mind off a sad situation than with some comedy? The 46-year-old comedian took the stage and performed a hilarious rendition of the uplifting song “Hallelujah” fittingly titled “Sandy, Screw Ya!” With NSFW lyrics that we can’t quite show you on here, it sure had us laughing. The rock legend and his band, The Rolling Stones, performed “You Got Me Rocking” and their 1968 classic “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and we could barely keep up with Mick running from one end of the stage to the other. Plus, his signature dance moves were in full effect. See for yourselves below:

Kanye West Raiding His Girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s Wardrobe? It’s never a dull moment with Kanye West! Though the concert was the talk of the Twitterverse last night, there was one specific thing that immediately began trending once it hit the stage: Kanye’s black leather skirt — which is what he wore during his performance. Some of the funny tweets? “Maybe a new item from the Kardashian collection?” one user mused, with another stating, “One time I saw Kanye West wearing a hoodie and a skirt, so I went out and bought a hoodie and a skirt,” referencing a famous quote from the 2004 flick Mean Girls. What did you think of his ensemble?
Jersey’s Most Famous Boys Together on StageWhoa. New Jersey natives Bruce Springsteen AND Jon Bon Jovi singing together at the same time? On the same stage?! Yep, that happened! Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band kicked off the concert singing some of their hits then invited Jon on stage to sing the Boss’ classic “Born to Run.” When it was Jon’s time to perform solo, he invited Bruce on stage with him and the pair sang Bon Jovi’s “Who Says you Can’t Go Home.”
When a Beatle Met NirvanaKurt Cobain’s definitely looking down from Heaven with a smile on his face. To end the show, Paul McCartney took the stage to perform the Beatles hit “Helter Skelter.” Diana Krall, with whom he performed “My Valentine”, later joined him. But it was the next number that really wowed the crowd. Joined by former Nirvana members Dave Grohl (drummer) and Krist Novoselic (guitarist), Paul replaced the late Cobain as front man and the trio performed a new reunion song called “Cut Me Some Slack.”
