It looks like the hardest thing Nick Lachey has ever had to do is go up against Vanessa Lachey on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars! The former 98 Degrees member is reportedly going to be showing off his dancing skills in order to compete for a Mirrorball Trophy against his wife.

Sources revealed to People that Nick, 43, and Vanessa, 36, will be heading to the dance floor together, and they will be the second married couple to compete in the series. During Season 21 of the hit ABC dance competition series, Spy Kids star Alexa PenaVega came in sixth place and her husband, Big Time Rush star Carlos PenaVega, made it to the semifinals.

But they won't be the only married couple on the dance floor. Pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd — who tied the knot back in July — will be returning to compete alongside Maks' brother Val Chmerkovskiy, Alan Bersten, Keo Motsepe, Artem Chigvintsev, Gleb Savchenko, Mark Ballas, Lindsay Arnold, Emma Slater, Sharna Burgess, and Witney Carson, according to an announcement on Good Morning America earlier this week.

Nick first rose to fame in the 1990s with his boy band, and he had a short-lived reality TV career with his ex-wife, pop star Jessica Simpson on their MTV series, Newlyweds. But their marriage didn't last and they got divorced in 2006. Nick went on to marry Vanessa in 2011, and the couple shares three children together —four-year-old son Camden, two-year-old daughter Brooklyn, and eight-month-old son Phoenix.
