What does Melania Trump wear in a flood? High heels, of course! The first lady is getting mocked on Twitter for wearing a pair of black stilettos to visit Hurricane Harvey-ravaged towns in Texas.

“Disaster Barbie™,” one user wrote, while another said, “To be fair they’re probably her grubby Louboutins… the ones she wears for firing the gardener and kicking puppies.” The 47-year-old completed her look with a black t-shirt, matching ankle-length slacks, and an olive green bomber jacket. She later changed into white sneakers and wore a baseball cap with the word “FLOTUS” across the front.

This isn’t the first time Melania’s fashion choices have caused controversy. When the Slovenian beauty’s official White House portrait was released in April, it was criticized for looking like a bad glamour shot. The former model wore a black tuxedo jacket and sequined kerchief with her giant 25-carat diamond ring prominently displayed. “All the airbrushing could almost make you ignore the $3 million ring,” one Twitter commenter wrote at the time, while someone else added, “Melania’s official portrait makes her look like she invented a skin care line using secret ingredients previously only available in Europe.”

Although the mother-of-one doesn’t typically address backlash, she did respond to comments made by Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski, who said in June, “Melania’s got the worst job in the country and I don’t think she wants do it a lot longer. I think she will do it for as long as she has to for her son, and that’s it.”

Through her press office, the first lady replied, “It is sad when people try to further their own agenda by commenting on me and my family, especially when they don’t know me.” Scroll down for more reactions to Melania’s Hurricane Harvey ensemble:
