After serving her 11-month sentence in prison, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is putting her life back together. And even though the reality star has her freedom back, her husband Joe Giudice is currently serving his three-year-plus sentence. The couple was found guilty of bankruptcy fraud five years after they filed for bankruptcy. Teresa recently admitted that if she had to go back and do it differently she would have never signed onto RHONJ.

“I wish I never put my husband on TV,” she told Us Weekly. “He looks back on how he was on the show and feels bad that he was so s—ty on TV. He’s not like that in real life.” Thankfully, she learned her lesson after her sentence. “I’m never signing anything ever again. I think we should keep things separate. So in that way, we kinda will be divorced.” Watch the video below to learn more about her sentence!

But, what will happen when Joe is released from prison? The couple shares four daughters: Gia, 16, Gabriella, 12, Milania, 11, and Audriana, 8. In her new memoir — Standing Strong — she reveals her family’s life has been changed dramatically from the prison sentences.

“I used to lead a charmed life. Joe made plenty of money to support our family and then some,” she wrote. “I was happy and relaxed. Until Joe f—ed up. And he f—ed up bad. Now I’m a single mother. I handle everything. All of it. And I support my entire family financially, which is a big weight on my shoulders on top of everything else.”

And she explained that she’s not sure their marriage will survive once he’s released. “Will I still be married to Joe in 40 years? I have no idea. You don’t know what life will bring,” she continued. “When he gets home, we’ll see. We have to ride this whole thing out. He has to serve his time, come home and do amazing… But I am giving him a chance. That’s why I’m standing by him.”
