It seems like Melania Trump might not be enjoying her First Lady duties so much. During her visit to the Children’s National Hospital in Washington D.C. on Thursday, Dec. 7, she was asked by a 10-year-old boy where she’d most like to spend Christmas — and her candid reply was somewhat hilarious. "I would spend my holidays on a deserted island, a tropical island, with my family," she said. Twitter users, of course, were quick to offer their own suggestions.

A longtime friend of the Trumps reportedly told Vanity Fair in November that Melania hadn’t wanted her husband to win the election. "She didn’t want this come hell or high water. I don’t think she thought it was going to happen." Back to Christmas — when asked what her favorite thing to eat for dinner is, Melania replied, "Healthy food." Explaining, "You feel very good after. Not too much eating." Finally, the First Lady told a little girl named Sammy that she would ask Santa for, "peace [in] the world, health, love, [and] kindness."

It sounds like it’s going to be an abstemious Christmas in the Trump household. As for where the festivities are taking place, it’s thought that the family will vacation at their Palm Beach, FL estate, Mar-a-Lago. While not deserted, it is, technically, on an island.
