So sweet!Dad-to-Be John Legend Reveals Whether He & Chrissy Teigen Have Chosen a Baby Name
Singer John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are expecting their first child together in a matter of months. And the soon-to-be dad just opened up about the baby names they’ve been throwing around.
So, do the excited parents-to-be have names picked out for their tiny daughter … or don’t they?
“We have a new name every day,” Legend, 36, told E! News. “We fall in love with it and then two days later we’re like, ‘no.’ They say sometimes you have to see the baby before you’re really sure.”
Darn it!
The crooner and his supermodel wife, Teigen, 30, first went public with their baby news in October, with a sweet photo on Instagram of Legend rubbing Teigen’s barely-there bump.
“John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :),” Teigen wrote. “As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited that it’s finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx”
They later dished that they’re having a girl and Teigen joked about what they might name her.

John said it’s important to him that he not be crazily overprotective of his daughter.
“I don’t like the idea that girls have to be protected from men,” he told E!. “I don’t even want to think like that. The idea that if it’s a girl, then we gotta put her in a cage, I don’t believe in that. You just want your kids to grow up with good values and respect themselves whether they’re a boy or a girl.”
Amen to that! We can’t wait to see what John and Chrissy decide to name their baby girl, and we’re even more excited to meet her!
