See Photos From ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Stars Remy Ma and Papoose’s Wedding!
After six years in prison on assault charges, Remy Ma finally exchanged vows with the man she loves, rapper Papoose, in the winter wonderland wedding she’d always wanted.
The rapper and star of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop gave Life & Style Weekly exclusive photos from her special day, along with all the romantic details. “We’d been waiting for this for so long,” she tells Life & Style. “We were just so happy.”

Amazingly, Remy planned the nuptials, held at Aria Wedding & Banquet Facility in Connecticut, in less than two months. “I was the wedding planner,” explains Remy, who said “I do” on Dec. 17 in front of 200 close friends (including Ice T, Coco Austin and rapper Fat Joe) and family members.
“I picked out every flower. I got on the phone with vendors and picked out the chairs, the tables, the linens,” she reveals. “I spent so many nights falling asleep with my face plastered to my laptop, booking everything.”
She wanted every detail to be perfect, and for good reason. Remy officially married Papoose seven years earlier, but they were forced to exchange vows over the phone while she was in prison. This was her chance to do it right.

“Pap was wishing and hoping for this day as much as I was,” Remy tells Life & Style. So she let him have his say, forgoing a nontraditional dress she’d chosen earlier in favor of a fairy-tale Ines Di Santo gown he loved. “He was like, ‘I’m sorry, babe. I’ve always envisioned you in a white dress,’” she says. “I was like, ‘Sure, I can do that.’”
The bride and groom’s white outfits fit perfectly into the winter-themed reception, which not only featured snow machines, but an ice-skating rink with professional skaters and food stations serving everything from seafood to sliders to exotic chocolates.
The total cost? “We were over six figures,” Remy admits. But she says it was worth it. “I can’t think of anything that tops that day,” she raves. “Every detail is branded into my brain. It’s something I’ll never forget.”
