Lifetime has reportedly found a replacement for Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller.

After the instructor and studio owner announced she was quitting the series following six years on the air, Entertainment Tonight reported that former Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke will step in for the remainder of Season 7.

An insider told the site that the show will resume filming on Wednesday, March 29. “It’s a go with or without Abby. It’s been up in the air because the network said it’s either all of the cast or they weren’t doing any [more episodes].”

A second source revealed that “[Abby] bolted from [filming] three or four episodes recently,” forcing producers to bring in choreographer Laurieann Gibson to teach the girls.

When Abby eventually returned, she allegedly brought a list of demands with her, including that Laurieann be banned from set and that no one mention “jail” — Abby is currently awaiting sentencing in a fraud case that could see her locked away for more than two years.

“[Abby was] spiraling and making decisions that most people would think are not smart,” a third source told the site.

When announcing her decision to leave the series, the Pennsylvania native didn’t hold back. “I will no longer take part in Dance Moms. For the past six years/seven seasons I have asked, begged, and even demanded creative credit for all the ideas, award winning routines, themes, and costuming — to no avail!” she wrote on Instagram.

She continued, “I don’t have a problem working with any kid, I love children and have dedicated my life to making other people’s children successful! I just have a problem with being manipulated, disrespected, and used — day in and day out by men who never took a dance lesson in their lives and treat women like dirt!”

We don’t doubt that this news will cause even more drama!
