31-year-old Adam has confirmed that his character, Elliott aka Starchild, will be appearing in more episodes of the hit FOX series. He made his debut in the episode "A Katy Or a Gaga," singing a rocking cover of Lady Gaga's song "Marry the Night."

IMDB confirms that Adam is slated to appear in at least two more episodes, and the "What Do You Want From Me" singer teases that there could be even more after that.
"I don't actually know how many," he confessed on the British talk show Daybreak. "We're still in the process of filming."

Adam's casting is extra delicious because he was once turned down for a role on the show. The the former American Idol finalist revealed, "I actually auditioned for the show years ago, before I was on Idol. The casting director was, like, 'Wow, I love your voice, but I think you're too old to be on the show.'" Talk about coming full circle!
And that's not the only exciting thing going on with Adam's career right now. The singer recently found out--via a tweet from Nancy Sinatra, of all places--that his name had been an answer to a clue in the famous New York Times crossword puzzle. Nice work, A-D-A-M!
