Adam Levine has denied reports he called up his ex-girlfriends and apologized to them before getting engaged to Behati Prinsloo — but he wishes he had.
Speaking with Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show, the Maroon 5 frontman debunked rumors that ever happened.
“I did not say that. That was total fabrication,” he told the famed disc jockey, in response to a story claiming he did. “I’d like to clear the record right now, I totally did not do that. That was a very surprising thing to have heard come out.”
He continued, “Completely untrue, completely 100 percent untrue. It sounds like a fantastic idea, and that was what was so weird about it, too, the angle on it was that it wasn’t totally cool to have done that.”
And then he dropped a bombshell: “I kinda wish I had done that. It would’ve been really nice.”
He quickly realized it wouldn’t have been a good decision. “It’s so selfish and arrogant to call. ‘Sorry, it didn’t work out between us because you weren’t good enough or me.’ It’s kinda f--ked up to do that actually,” he said.
We’re not sure how supermodel exes Angela Bellotte or Anne Vyalitsyna feel about his upcoming wedding, but former flame Nina Agdal seems to be over it.
“I wish him the best and he wishes me the best,” Nina [pictured below] exclusively tells Life & Style, “It’s all good in the hood!”
Speaking of his love life, the 35-year-old Voice coach was asked about his preference of dating models in the new issue of GQ.
“Preference should never be looked down upon. Unless it’s based on something really sh--ty. I’m not saying I have a preference, but like, I want to date someone…” he says.
“Listen, there are a lot of women in this country, in many countries, who date men for their money. Okay? That’s despicable. Right? That’s not what we’re talking about here. Whatever does it for you, man. I don’t like feet. You know what I mean? But some people do. Some people have f--king foot fetishes. And it’s weird to me. But I don’t have to deal with it, because I don’t have that. You know?”
