It's official: Amanda Bynes is returning to the spotlight!
After a public breakdown that began with several arrests in 2012, the 31-year-old sat down for her first interview in four years, announcing, "I do miss acting and I have something surprising to tell you: I’m going to start acting again."
She told Hollyscoop's Diana Madison, "I want to do TV. Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I’m a fan of and maybe another TV show where I’m the star of it."

But the former child star, who's been attending school at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, also admitted that she'd love to make a name for herself in the fashion industry. "I learned how to sew. I've made patterns and I want to start a clothing line in the future," she shared.
Amanda spoke about her current day-to-day life after revealing that she's three years sober. "I hike, I take spinning classes and I feed the homeless," she said.
The Amanda Show alum was even able to joke about the darkest period of her life, confessing that she stole Blac Chyna's look at one point (aka matching cheek piercings).
As Life & Style previously reported, producers at Nickelodeon had allegedly reached out to Amanda about doing another series. The California native originally got her start on the network's sketch comedy show All That.
“[They want to] work with her again in a positive and healthy way. She has a tremendous amount of talent,” an insider told Page Six.
Despite her desire to start acting again, a friend told Life & Style earlier this year that Amanda would still like to retain some anonymity. “The one thing that Amanda can’t stand is when people take her picture,” the pal revealed.
