Amanda Bynes has been put on psychiatric hold.
Sergeant Eric Bushell of the Ventura County Sheriff's Department confirms to Life & Style that the troubled 27-year-old started a small fire in the driveway of someone's home in Thousand Oaks, Calif. on Monday night.

"After talking with her they established that she met the criteria of a 5150 hold under the California Health and Welfare Code," he tells Life & Style. "For this she would have had to have met one of three criteria. Exhibiting behavior that suggests she was a danger to herself, a danger to others or showing signs of being gravely ill. She was then taken for a mental health evaluation."
