"It's going to be a different vibe," the series' co-host Alison Haislip tells Life & Style. "It's not about worrying about the other people they've been working with, now it's 'I have to deal with just these [three other] people.'" And Alison, who has been monitoring the contestants' trending popularity on Twitter, says it's going to be a close race. "Javier always trends, that's a no-brainer; he trends before he performs," she says. "Vicci gets a lot of love, and people go crazy about the fact that Dia does original stuff and is also gorgeous. Beverly surprised everyone by winning the hearts of America as the viewers' choice."
For most of the contestants, making it to the finals is amazing yet bittersweet. "Frenchie [Davis] was my biggest competition, and one of my dearest friends," admits Beverly. "She's a wonderful singer; I'm blessed to have been in this with her."
"For dramatic purposes, I know people might want to hear that I want to beat so and so; it's actually totally the opposite," Vicci tells Life & Style. "I feel lucky to have a competed to this level, I really love everyone here. I for one didn't think I'd make it this far."
Sentiments echoed by Javier. "You want to do well and be well-received," he says. "We've all grown with the opportunity, and we've all become close because of it. It's a competition, yes, but we're all friends, and I can't wait to get to all of their concerts once this thing is over."
"I really wasn't doing well before the performance this week," admits Dia. "Jeff was one of my best friends on the show, and when he got sent home, I was trying so hard not to cry. It really put me in a dark place before the show, but I pulled it out."
Tune in to NBC tonight to see the battle and Wednesday to see who's crowned the winner of The Voice.
