Carrie Underwood Is the Most Successful ‘American Idol’ Winner — According to Her Net Worth

Thirteen years after winning Season 4 of American Idol, country superstar Carrie Underwood is back on the reality singing competition to mentor the first class of contestants on the reboot. And it's no surprise that Carrie was chosen to guide the aspiring singers — seeing as she is the most successful contestant in the show's history, according to her net worth.

Since being crowned an Idol in 2005, Carrie has sold more than 65 million records worldwide, and is worth an estimated $75 million dollars. Her debut album, Some Hearts, became the best-selling solo female debut album in country music history. She is also currently working on a new album, featuring her latest single "Cry Pretty." "Sometimes you get together and write a song that is kind of exactly what you're feeling at that moment, and that was 'Cry Pretty' for me," she told Country Living. "I think 'Cry Pretty' sets the tone for the rest of the album because it's emotional and it is real, but there's also just some incredible musical moments in the song."

She continued, "We have a lot of songs on there that are definitely emotional and kind of soulful and real and raw. I hope everyone loves it as much as I do." Carrie, 35, recently opened up about a scary incident that took place on her property last November that left her with 50 stitches on her face. However, viewers barely noticed the scar on Idol — and she only has fond memories of her time on the competition.

"12 years later and I’m still not sure how it all happened to me!” she captioned a photo of her winning moment last year. “12 years ago today, my dreams came true and life has been a dream ever since! I am beyond blessed and so thankful! #AmericanIdol #TBT." So, how do her fellow winners compare?
