Q: What are doing now?
A: I spent most of 2010 performing in Las Vegas. Recently, I've been traveling for shows all over the world. I'm working on a new Vegas show with Ben Stone, the British singer and song writer. I've also been back in the studio recording new original music for my upcoming second album.
Q: Have you found love?
A: Well. . .I'm not married yet. No kids yet. But I do have a boyfriend!
Q: What was your most memorable moment on Idol?
A: When I was up against Latoya London and managed to secure a place in the top 3. I was genuinely stunned when Ryan [Seacrest] said, "Jasmine, you are safe!" Time stood still. But getting voted through each time to the next stage of the competition felt like a huge moment.
Q: Who was your favorite judge?
A: Simon Cowell, as he was always honest with his critique, but we expected that. I respected and trusted his judgment, and his critical analysis of my performances helped me strive to improve and become the singer and performer I am today. He was always a nice guy.
Q: What's the best thing to happen to you since Idol?
A: My debut album received gold-record status in Asia. I had success in the Philippines too and was the face of McDonald's "I'm Loving It" campaign there. They named a McDonald's meal after me called "The Jasmine Trio." I was also the first American Idol finalist to headline on the Las Vegas strip.
