Three people were killed — and another nine were injured — after a gunman opened fire at a movie theater showing the summer rom com Trainwreck.
In addition to the two victims, the shooter claimed his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Shortly after the shooting at the Lafayette, La., theater, Amy Schumer, 34, addressed the tragedy, tweeting, “My heart is broken and all my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Louisiana.”

My heart is broken and all my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Louisiana.
As of press time, officials believe the shooter acted alone.
In a statement to the media, Col. Michael Edmonson of the Louisiana State Police said, “There’s nothing to believe that there was any kind of motive.”
