While promoting The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro, Andrew Garfield got asked an unusual question on live TV—and Emma Stone was right by his side for this awkward moment.
When Waleed Aly from Australia’s The Project asked Garfield, “How do you make sure that your package looks appropriate in that costume?” The 30-year-old actor replied (in detail) with a witty remark.
“It takes a lot of consideration because you don’t want it to be overwhelming and also you don’t want it to be underwhelming. You don’t want it to intimidate and you don’t want to—the opposite of intimidate,” he said.
“So yes, there is thought, but ultimately you have to trust that what you have is enough.”

Waleed then went on to ask if there is a "focus group" involved to figure out what fit looked the best. Andrew laughed and replied, “I had one focus group and that focus group was Emma and she approved.”
While the 25-year-old actress, who plays Peter Parker’s love interest, Gwen Stacy, kept her mouth shut during this part of the interview that happened Friday, she did comment on the kissing involved in the film.
“It’s pretty icky,” Emma joked before Andrew added, “Yeah, it’s pretty gross.”
The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro hits theaters May 2 and also stars Jamie Foxx as the evil villain, Electro, and Sally Field as Aunt May.
