Andy Samberg has officially set the date!
The comedian revealed to Life & Style that he and his fiancée, Joanna Newsom, have decided when they'll have their wedding.
"Yes [we've set a date]," he told Life & Style while promoting his new Fox show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, at the 2013 TCAs today, Aug. 1. "But I'm not telling anyone!"
But Andy assures the mag that he's far from a groomzilla. "I'm a mellow groom," he said.
The former Saturday Night Live star, 34, proposed to his singer-songwriter girlfriend, 31, earlier this year. A rep confirmed their engagement after five years of dating in February.
Though Andy is busy planning his nuptials and promoting his new series, he does admit to missing SNL.
"I'll go back to host any time they want me to! That's not something the host decides, that's something Lorne [Michaels, the show's creator] decides," he told Life & Style. "But yeah, I miss it every day."
He added, "[I miss my] friends who are still there and that environment of camaraderie — the intensity of coming up with something that you'll come up with on a Thursday or Friday that will air on TV that Saturday. Just that rush."
We miss you, too, Andy!
