As Life & Style previously reported, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's two-year marriage was slowly crumbling long before he allegedly abused one of their children earlier this month.
Life & Style has exclusively learned that Angie returned home from a recent trip on behalf of the United Nations to find her husband acting strangely.

"The house was in disarray," an insider says. "[Brad was] glassy-eyed and out of it." When she confronted him, "He yelled back at her so loudly that his voice got hoarse."
The actor previously admitted as far back as 2011 that with six children, their home is always chaotic.
"Did you ever see the movie [One Flew Over the] Cuckoo's Nest? That's morning time in our house," the 52-year-old once joked with Ellen DeGeneres about the film set in a mental institution.

"Angelina will always do what's in the best interest to protect her children. She appreciates everyone's understanding of their need for privacy at this time," the actress' manager, Geyer Kosinski, said after she filed for divorce. The Oscar winner's attorney, Robert Offer, explained that her decision was made "for the health of the family," adding that she "will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time."
