Angelina Jolie finally stepped out in a dress that wasn’t (gasp) black!
At a photocall for her newest film Maleficent, the 38-year-old actress walked the red carpet in a tight-fitted white dress, which had drawings of birds and branches imprinted on it to reflect the film's ominous theme.
Jolie paired her Atelier Versace look with some seriously wicked custom-made Christian Louboutin heels, which were inspired by her character’s horns.
Joining her on the carpet at Corinthia Hotel in London was Elle Fanning, who plays Princess Aurora.
Brangelina Forever!: 10 Years of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
On Thursday, Jolie attended a private reception where costumes and props from the Disney film were exhibited at Kensington Palace. This time, her fiancé, Brad Pitt, and their 12-year-old son, Maddox, tagged along. Unsurprisingly, Jolie wore a sequined black Versace gown with a plunging neckline for this event.
Jolie was just revealed as ELLE magazine’s June cover girl who confessed: “I never thought I’d have children. I never thought I’d be in love.” On the cover, she again, wore a black outfit. In a past interview with Vogue, Jolie explained how practical the color is.
“As Brad’ll tell you—and my kids—apparently Mommy only wears black,” she said. “I like to get up so every pair of pants goes with every top, every dress goes with every shoe. I’ve a very tiny closet. Brad’s always laughing at me.”
