Baby Kaitlyn From ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ Is Basically an Adult Now
Well, hello there! Remember baby Kaitlyn from TLC’s now-canceled reality series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo? You know, Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell’s daughter — the one born with an extra thumb. Well, little Kait (who underwent thumb removal surgery in 2016) has grown into quite the big kid, as seen in an Instagram pic her mom posted on Tuesday, March 13. See how much she has grown in the video above!
In the snap, Kaitlyn rocks wavy blonde hair…the product of Anna’s amateur styling skills. "My drama queen lol," the proud mother-of-two — who also shares daughter Kylee, 2, with estranged husband Michael Cardwell — wrote. "She wanted her hair done for school in the morning ps this pic was [taken] around 9."
Anna’s sweet post comes months after news broke that she and Michael were calling it quits on their nearly three-year marriage. According to Radar Online, she first shared the news with friends on her private Facebook page. "It’s just a lot on both of us and [we] have a lot to think about. But this is only temporary right now," she allegedly wrote last August. "I love him and always will no matter where this goes."
Though Anna fled Alabama — where she resided with her ex Michael — for her home state of Georgia to move back in with Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, aka Mama June Shannon’s ex, she and her famous mom have yet to reestablish a relationship after years of not talking. Earlier this year, Mama June, 38, opened up about her lack of communication with Anna, 23, in an exclusive interview with Life & Style.
"It’s sad, but she’s moved back to Georgia. And I still see Kaitlyn from time to time, but she’s kind of, like, shut everybody out. And that’s something that she has to deal with herself and so she knows what’s up," the From Not to Hot star shared. "You know what I mean? She knows that I’m here, so whenever she’s ready to come around, she’ll come around."
