Forget reality TV, this is real life. Real people, real emotions, real struggles and real triumphs.
The first of its kind to be aired in the US, AOL's Connected features the personal stories of six New Yorkers woven together into one of the most intimate series ever.
Each character has been given a camera to document their lives over the course of six months - the result of which is a unique format shot and told by the characters themselves.
The 20-episode series, which is executive produced by Morgan Spurlock and also stars Susan Sarandon, will be released in batches of four from March 31 to May 25.
You can watch the first batch - where we get a fascinating glimpse into Jonathan Bricklin's struggle with being known only as Susan's "Toy Boy" - here: AOL's Connected.
