Are Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Engaged? — Wedding Update!

It looks like Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth won’t be saying “I do” anytime soon.

The couple has decided to call off their wedding, but the decision wasn’t mutual, with Liam getting overwhelmed with the stress of planning their future together.

While Miley, 24, knows calling off the wedding is for the best, sources reveal exclusively to Life & Style that she is “frustrated” with the Hunger Games actor.

“She desperately wants to be married,” the insider says. “After all the effort she’s made to change her ways and fit into his more traditional family, she now feels like she needs to step back and wait again.”

Along with the release of her new album, the “Malibu” singer also debuted a more demure look and revealed that she has stopped smoking marajuana— and many believe Liam, 27, was the reason she said goodbye to her twerking days.

“I haven’t smoked weed in three weeks, which is the longest I’ve ever [gone without it]. I’m not doing drugs, I’m not drinking, I’m completely clean right now! That was just something that I wanted to do,” she told Billboard in May.

However, it seems it wasn’t enough to stop Liam from getting cold feet and Miley’s family isn’t thrilled by his decision.

Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus “want Miley to settle down they want Liam as a son-in-law,” adds the source. “But they’re very hopeful.”

And so is Miley, who is prepared to wait as long as it takes to become Mrs. Hemsworth.

“Miley doesn’t care if they’re engaged another five years,” the insider explains. “When the time is right, she thinks they’ll both just know.”
