So, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola might’ve been “just friends” with Arvin Lal when she texted him behind Ronnie Ortiz-Magro‘s back during Season 3 of Jersey Shore, but after seeing what he looks like now, we’re not surprised he caused drama between the on-again, off-again couple. It all started when Sammi and Ronnie got into one of their explosive blow-out fights that resulted in Sammi briefly leaving the shore house. While home, the brunette beauty texted Arvin and told him to meet her out at the Jersey club Karma once she returned to the show. Unfortunately for Sammi, Arvin was also friends with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino — and didn’t hold back in spilling the dirty details to him, which naturally resulted in yet another feud between Ron and Sam.

So, what is Arvin up to today? Well, not only is he in peak physical condition, but he’s also incredibly successful. According to his Instagram page, he’s the CEO of Shredz, a weight loss supplement company. In fact, if his business is doing as well as reports claim, he might have even more money than the regulars of the MTV reality show.

As for reality TV? Don’t expect Arvin to be gracing the small screen again anytime soon. The stud doesn’t seem to think too fondly of his Jersey Shore experience. In fact, as he told Brown Girl Magazine in 2013, he believes his 15 seconds of reality fame would only work against his business ambitions. “Television, and especially reality television, is very misleading. The perception of reality TV has a negative stigma. Because of that, I’m swimming against the tide when trying to gain people’s trust. The one positive thing is that the age demographic that we target is the same demographic that watched Jersey Shore.”
