Ashley Graham Isn’t Afraid to Flaunt Her Cellulite on Instagram!
No filter! Ashley Graham is keeping it real on Insta, and showed off her cellulite in a gorgeous beach selfie. While wearing a leopard print two-piece, the Sports Illustrated model gave fans an up-close look at her unretouched swimsuit bod while on vacation in the Philippines.
“I workout. I do my best to eat well. I love the skin I’m in. And I’m not ashamed of a few lumps, bumps or cellulite… and you shouldn’t be either,” she wrote, after fans accused her of losing weight in a previous post.
This isn’t the first time the 29-year-old has spoken out about body image issues. “I always felt second best,” she told Self magazine last year. “I was never the prettiest, never the skinniest, never the fastest in my sports. Never the smartest, because I have dyslexia. Then, all of a sudden, people were like, ‘You’re gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘What?!'”
She continued, “I dated all the wrong men. I thought I could feel appreciated in my body through guys. [My ex] never hit me, but he did throw me up against a wall. I didn’t know to get out then because I was so insecure.”
The brunette beauty has been breaking barriers in the modeling industry ever since her debut, and she has her eyes on making history by walking the Victoria’s Secret runway. “Of course I saw the big show. It was incredible,” she told TMZ of the annual fashion extravaganza. “Oh yeah, I mean… When Victoria’s Secret calls me and asks me to be on their runway, I’m gonna say yes. Victoria’s Secret, I’m here for you.”
