<p><span></span>When <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=two and a half men&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><em>Two and a Half Men</em></a> premieres on Sept. 19, it will have a new star - <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=ashton kutcher&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Ashton Kutcher</strong></a>. However, Ashton is quick to say that he is not replacing <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=charlie sheen&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Charlie Sheen</strong></a>. On CBS' <em>Early Show</em>, he said, "Charlie was incredible on the show, and there's no way I'm going to replace Charlie Sheen."</p>
Though he's not going to try and fill Sheen's shoes, Ashton is still pretty excited about his new gig. "It just seemed like the best job in the world," he says. But it's not all fun and games. "I was just trying to remember my lines!" says Ashton about the first day of taping.
Ashton was also nervous about going back to TV in general: "I had apprehensions for several reasons. I had a relatively successful film career, and I knew it would shut down for a minute. When you have a good thing going, you don't want to put the pause button on it," he admits.
Coincidentally, Comedy Central will be airing a related show the same night that Men premieres -- its roast of Charlie Sheen!
Who are you more excited to see, Ashton or Charlie?
