Michael Stagliano may have come out on top as the winner of Bachelor Pad 2, but he lost something far more important--the love of his life, Holly Durst. Michael was blindsided on the season finale by never-before-seen footage of his co-star, Blake Julian, proposing to his ex-fiancée, Holly. Now, the heartbroken star talks to Life & Style about winning the competition and losing Holly all on the same night.

"It's a loss and a gain at the same time," Michael, who split the $250,000 grand prize with Holly, exclusively tells Life & Style. "It's hard to say goodbye to somebody when you still love her."
Michael and Holly were engaged in June 2010 but Holly had second thoughts and called off the wedding six months later. When the two partnered up for The Bachelor Pad 2, Holly tells Life & Style she considered giving their relationship another shot. "I started to think maybe I could go back to Michael," Holly admits to Life & Style, "but then I went out on a date with Blake, and it confused the hell out of me. That's when everything started to change."
After dating Blake for only three months, Holly announced that she was moving to South Carolina to live with him -- but Michael never thought he would lose Holly forever.
"I wasn't ready for that," he now admits. "One of the last things I said to her on the show was, 'I love you.'"
