Congrats! The Bachelor stars Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici will soon be celebrating their first year of parenthood and they’ve already got the entire party planned. Of course, their son Samuel will be the man of the hour — turning one year old on July 2.

We recently chatted with the happy couple, who’s currently working with Chase Marriott Rewards Credit Card to give away $500 Marriott gift cards to 10 winners, about their plans for little Sam’s birthday and get this — it’s going to be “Green Eggs and Sam(uel)” themed! How cute!

“The first birthday is always about the adults there because the babies have no idea about what’s going on, but I want it to be something that’s very memorable,” Catherine told us. “Just like every person named Sam, we’re doing Green Eggs and Samuel — so it’s going to be a Dr. Seuss party.”

“I was really focused on the party giveaways and the invitations. I made custom invitations for his party just because I have a stationary company,” she added. “That was the most exciting thing for me!”

Since proposing to Catherine on The Bachelor in 2013, the couple got married, moved to Dallas, had a baby, and started their own furniture line together. And that’s on top of the 31-year-old’s stationary company, LoweCo., and Sean’s job in real estate.

The biggest adjustment of them all, however, was welcoming little Samuel.

“It’s surprising how much work it takes to raise a happy healthy baby,” Sean told us. “You always have to keep your eyes on him and if you’re not changing diapers, you’re feeding him, or just watching him as he crawls around the room making sure he’s not getting into anything he shouldn’t be getting into. It’s a full time job and i’m not sure I fully grasped that idea before Samuel was born.”

We can’t wait to see all of the Instagram photos from Samuel’s first birthday!
