For most Bachelor and Bachelorette fans, news of Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff's breakup didn't come as much of a surprise, given the franchise's history of failed relationships.
Although the former couple claims they're splitting as "supportive friends," an insider reveals that their demise was anything but amiable.
According to the source, "Chris had gone Hollywood, and was becoming very arrogant. And it got worse after appearing on Dancing With The Stars. Whitney didn’t like the change in Chris, and he just didn’t care. His ego was out of control."
But that wasn't all. "Chris was also incredibly cheap," the insider tells Radar. “Chris refused to buy Whitney a plane ticket to see him in Iowa, forcing her to drive from Chicago...After arriving, it became obvious that Chris didn’t care about the relationship.”
And remember that mural that was painted of Chris and Whitney on the side of a building during their one-on-one date in Des Moines, Iowa? Well, it's not going to be removed just because of their relationship status!
"We’re going to keep it up," a worker at RoCa, the restaurant where the mural is located, told Life & Style. "It’s a focal point of the restaurant and it’s definitely an attraction piece.”
Here's hoping farmer Chris doesn't take too many trips to Des Moines!
