Life & Style can reveal that engaged Bachelorette couple Emily Maynard and Jef Holm are planning what promises to be one of the most extravagant weddings in the history of The Bachelor and Bachelorette.
"Money is no object," a friend of Jef's tells Life & Style. "If Emily wants it to be held at the biggest estate in South Carolina, done. Jef wants this to be the best day of her life."
The wedding will most likely be in the spring, confirms Emily, who adds that the affair will take place in Charleston, S.C.
"I've already been looking at places," she confides. As for the dress (which will be by Jean Fares, who also designed Emily's proposal gown)? "I'd say very feminine, vintage and with lots of antique jewelry!"
The event, which ABC hopes to televise, could top Trista and Ryan Sutter's wedding, which cost $4 million in 2003.
A former Bachelor contestant explains to Life & Style, "Emily thinks of herself as a bit of a Disney princess with a Southern twist, so why wouldn't she have a fairy-tale wedding? Think horse-drawn carriage, elaborate gown and emotional vows." Adds the contestant, "Emily's 7-year-old daughter, Ricki, will be the flower girl, and I wouldn't put it past Emily to include her cats as ring bearers!"
