The Bachelor Nation is so excited for Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum’s baby on the way — especially former Bachelorette Trista Sutter.
Life & Style caught up with the reality star, who couldn’t stop raving about her pal’s glorious news.
“They’re going to be wonderful parents,” the mother-of-two tells Life & Style. “They’re some of my favorite people from the show. I just adore her and JP.”
But Trista says she has a bone to pick with her friend Ashley!
“Someone reached out to me in late February and asked if she was expecting,” Trista recalls. “So I wrote her and said, ‘Just so you know, people think you’re expecting!’ And she played it off – she should be an actress because she totally fooled me!”
When it comes to parenting, Trista knows a thing or two. After finding love with husband Ryan Sutter [pictured above] on the first season of The Bachelorette in 2003 (and marrying him the same year), the pair welcomed son Maxwell in July 2007 and daughter Blakesley in April 2009.

So does she have any advice for her co-Bachelorette?
“It’s just about being loving – and she’s a very loving person. And it’s about prioritizing your relationship with your husband,” explains the TV personality, who’s partnered with Colgate to help spread the word about Champions for Kids SIMPLE Giving – their campaign focused on providing oral care products to children in need.
“Obviously when you have a baby, you need to make sure you’re giving all your love and attention to them, but I think throughout the years, it’s really important to focus on your relationship so the child knows what a healthy relationship looks like.”
And if Ashley ever needs a shoulder to lean on, she has Trista’s.
“She can always come to me,” the beauty tells Life & Style. “I know her sister has a couple of kids, so she’s got a lot of people around her who can give her lots of tips.”
She adds jokingly, “I don’t know if she’s going to come to me now that she didn’t tell me she was pregnant!”
Ashley and J.P. revealed the big news exclusively to In Touch Weekly today. The pair met on season seven of The Bachelorette in 2011 and married Dec. 1, 2012.
