In this week's edition, Kym talks about why the bar is set higher than ever and how the cast cuts loose!

Dancing With the Stars kicked off last Monday, and Kym was impressed with her partner Jaleel White's dancing, as well as with their competitors' moves. "It was a great first week! I've had the best people to work with [in past seasons] and Jaleel is great as well. He's definitely got a lot of natural talent but he's been working very, very hard, too. I'm hoping we can last a while -- hopefully till the end! -- but with the level being so high, I feel like we've gotta stay on our toes. This season is probably one of the strongest seasons I've ever had. For the first show, the level was just incredible. It was really up there."
Competing on the show means six hours of rehearsals every day (even weekends!), but that doesn't mean the cast doesn't cut loose. "We always go out together Monday nights after the show. Tonight, we're going to Mixology at The Grove. It's a new place, and we're just going there to have some food and drinks. Monday is definitely a night where we can go have fun. [The rest of the week] I do Freshology, which is [a meal plan] delivered to my house. It's portion-controlled and calorie-counted and it just makes things really easy."
But Kym's alarm clock will still go off bright and early the next day -- there's no sleeping in. "Tuesday is still an early day for us. The dance pros are all doing an opening number tomorrow, without our celebrity partners, so we have to be there quite early and work on the numbers all day. Once the show starts, every single day is a work day."
