Four years after Kanye West infamously interrupted Taylor Swift’s speech at the 2009 VMAs, a secret tape has been leaked of the rapper ranting backstage.

Right after the incident, the hip-hop star, who's now a father to daughter North, aired his frustrations to his entourage about Taylor’s Best Female Video win, pop star Pink’s two performances and even racism. Gawker released the audio and text last night.

Get ready for it:

I'd rather just let the [inaudible] speak for itself. You know, it's like, I was happy to be in a situation where people couldn't say, oh, I was trying to promote my own song. For the times that I've, like, defended myself… [Tape break] I'm pushing the envelope! I wrote my [expletive] 'Run This Town' verse for a [expletive] month! When I heard Eminem's verse on the Drake [expletive], I went back and rewrote my [expletive] for two days. I canceled appointments to rewrite! I [expletive] care! You know what I'm saying? And that's what I'm saying. Because I did that, Taylor Swift cannot win over Beyoncé! Because I wrote my verse in two days, Taylor Swift cannot beat Beyoncé. As long as I'm alive! And if I'm alive, kill me then! Kill me then! As long as I'm alive, you gon' have to deal with it. 'Cause there ain't gonna be no more [expletive] Elvises with no James Browns.

[A female voice asks, "Why are you so angry? What's the anger?"] Because my mother got arrested for the [expletive] sit-ins. My mother died for this fame [expletive]! I moved to [expletive] Hollywood chasing this [expletive] My mother died because of this [expletive]. [Expletive] MTV.

It ain't no love. What the [expletive] was Pink performing? Don't nobody know that song. Pink performed twice! Two songs? How the [expletive] Pink perform two songs and I didn't even get asked to perform "Heartless." "Heartless" is the biggest song of the year! It had the most spins of the first quarter! I don't know that Pink song! But I noticed that she's pink! They put me in a [expletive] room and [inaudible – maybe "projected it"].

[A male voice asks, "How the [expletive] did Eminem get the Best Hip-Hop song in 2008?"] Eminem won Best Video! Rap Video! Yo, when he won that [expletive] I was so happy. I was so happy I [unclear – "ran all this [expletive]," maybe]. I said, "[expletive], I'm gon' do this until y'all put a bullet in my head. I'm runnin' up to y'all, put a…" [tape cuts].

Yep. That happened.

Perhaps Pink, whose two performances were incredible, got wind of his rant because she shared a few choice words about his behavior the next day. "Kanye West is the biggest piece of [expletive] on earth," she said. "My heart goes out to Taylor Swift. She is a sweet and talented girl and deserved her moment. She should know we all love her. Beyonce is a classy lady. I feel for her, too. It's not her fault at all, and her and Taylor did their thing. And douche bag got kicked out."

Taylor Swift Makes VMA Dig at Kanye West

Kanye apologized for stealing Taylor's thunder, but then recently revealed in a New York Times article that it wasn't a genuine apology — and that he felt peer-pressured to do it.

The incident is back in the spotlight after the 23-year-old songstress made a dig about it on her Twitter account earlier this week.

Following the news that was she up for two 2013 VMAs, including Best Female Video, Taylor tweeted:

This just doesn’t get old, does it?
