Bella Hadid’s latest Instagram post has gotten some major body shaming backlash!
The 20-year-old shared a tasteful black and white photo, showing off her thin frame in a white bikini and a matching coverup tied around her waist. The model posed with a tropical backdrop and simply wrote “loner” in the caption, but fans were quick to point out that Bella looked extremely skinny in the shot — and proceeded to rip her apart in the comments.
Some fans expressed concern over Bella’s body transformation and pointed out her visible rib cage. Many of them worried that Bella might be struggling with anorexia, and even suggested that she “eat a burger.” One user even compared her to a skeleton.
“You are extremely beautiful, but don’t you think that it would be better if you could eat more?” another used asked.
The model has yet to respond to the bashing she’s received on her Instagram page and instead she posted a screenshot celebrating her latest accomplishment. After enjoying a breakout year in her modeling career — and earning her wings as a Victoria’s Secret Angel last month — Bella was voted top in her industry by Models.com and crowned “Model of the Year.”
