Don’t expect to see Ben Flajnik on The Bachelor or any of its spin-offs in the future!
After coming in second place on Ashley Hebert’s season of The Bachelorette, Ben became The Bachelor’s season-16 star — and now he’s ready to leave it all behind him.
“It was a good experience; I had fun,” the 30-year-old tells Life & Style. “But I’m definitely done. I’m never going to do any Bachelor show again.”
Though he proposed to winner Courtney Robertson, 29, they ended their engagement months later. “We kind of grew apart,” Ben says about their October breakup. “Distance, work; we were going our separate ways.”
Just two days ago, Courtney, confirmed to Life & Style that she’s dating Arie Luyendyk Jr., who was the runner-up on Emily Maynard’s Bachelorette season.
So how did Ben feel after hearing about the news?
“[I’m not dating again], not as quickly as she is,” he tells Life & Style exclusively. “I don’t know what to make of it. The way she handled it wasn’t in the best taste.”
But will fans ever see the Sonoma winemaker on the small screen again?
“TV is not out of the picture,” he admits to Life & Style. “ TV is pretty fun; I love what comes along with it. It’s all for the story, the ride.”
