Benji Madden Proves He’s Still Obsessed With Wife Cameron Diaz and We Want What They Have
In case you forgot, Cameron Diaz is married to Benji Madden. The duo is rarely seen together, so don’t feel bad if the twosome totally slipped your mind, but the Good Charlotte rocker reminded us in a big way on Aug. 30 how much he loves his wife with an adorable Instagram post for her 45th birthday.
“Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Wife. I feel like I am the LUCKIEST guy ALIVE,” the 38-year-old wrote. “I don’t think anyone could ever know the Depth, Kindness, and Compassion that I get to experience everyday thanks to My One and Only — You got me til the end baby.” Swooooooon.
The pair got married in January 2015 after just eight months of dating. In 2016, the actress recalled meeting her hubby for the first time, explaining, “It was one of those things where everyone tells you, ‘You just know when you know.’ I was like, ‘What does that mean? Oh, I get it. You just know when you know.’ Like you’re my husband.”
She continued, “The first thing I said when I first met my husband was, ‘He’s hot.’ How come I didn’t know this before? We had never been in the same circle. Then I saw him again. ‘Wait a second, still hot!'”
And even though the blonde beauty boasts famous exes such as Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez, she’s never felt the way she feels about Benji with anyone else. “You know, nothing matters now that I have my husband. Like, I don’t even remember any of that. All of that is like, that’s the thing, that’s how I know he’s my husband…No one compares. Everything else just like washes and slips away,” she said.
A few months later, she added in a post on Instagram, “One of my favorite things about being married, is how much pride I take in my husband. He makes me proud everyday. One day it might be how generous and giving, another how gentle and thoughtful. Or when he is fiercely protective of the people he loves and cares about.”
Ugh, can these two just have babies already?! Because they just became our new favorite couple!
