Do you think celebrities all band together at events and complain about their fame and riches? No...I don’t think so either.
But, for some reason, they love to complain about it to the public. Beyoncé — being the celeb who does it every chance she gets — has done it yet again in a new 11-minute video.
In a short film to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her self-titled visual album (REMEMBER WHEN CHRISTMAS ARRIVED EARLY LAST YEAR???), a teary-eyed Queen Bey opens up about the pitfalls of fame.
“I sometimes wish I could be anonymous and walk down a street just like everyone else,” she narrates. “Before I was famous, I was the girl on the hill with a guitar. I was the girl who just wanted a beautiful view of the beach and now that I’m famous, it’s really, really difficult to do very simple things. I think it’s the hardest thing to give up.”
Yeah…but giving up your millions, family and status would be a lot harder, don’t ya think?
While the clip is sort of creepy, it’s Bey we’re talking about, so you know it’s still awesome.
Plus, Blue Ivy makes an appearance and that right there is enough to make you watch.
