Vin Diesel Pays Tribute to Fast & Furious Co-star and Friend Paul Walker
Her show comes three days after the Fast & Furious star, 40, died in a one-car collision with his friend Roger Rodas, 38. The pair took Roger's 2005 Porsche Carrera GT for a spin after they attended a charity event through their non-profit organization, Reach Out Worldwide.
Both autopsies have been completed and their deaths ruled accidental. Roger, the driver of the vehicle, died of multiple traumatic injuries; Paul, the passenger, passed away from a combination traumatic injuries and burns after the vehicle crashed into a pole and erupted in flames. Los Angeles County Coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter said the men died "within seconds" from the crash. Toxicology results will not be available for six to eight weeks.
Following the news of his death, Paul’s family, friends and fans have mourned him at the crash site, which has since been turned into a memorial.
“I will always love you Brian, as the brother you were…. on and off screen,” Vin Diesel, who also addressed fans at the Santa Clarita location on Monday night, wrote on Facebook. The duo starred in five of the six Fast & Furious movies together, with another currently in production.
