So sneaky! Blake Lively might have walked the 2018 Met Gala red carpet alone, but her husband, Ryan Reynolds, was actually by her side every step of the way. The 30-year-old had the name “Reynolds” bedazzled on a clutch that she held, and yes, everyone missed it at first glance. Watch the video above to see Blake’s subtle nod to Ryan on the carpet!

Although the couple is notoriously private about their relationship — especially when it comes to their daughters, James, 3, and Ines, 2 — this tiny show of affection proves that their relationship is stronger than ever. But the clutch didn’t just pay tribute to her hot AF hubby — the kids got some recognition as well!

Blake’s clutch — designed with Austrian crystals — stuck to this year’s Met Gala theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, with an image of a cross on one side of it. If fans looked closely enough, there were the letters, B, R, J, and I, at each point on the cross, which are the first initials of each member of her family.

The former Gossip Girl star wore a Versace gown that was created by hand. “This year’s may be my favorite dress ever,” Blake told Vogue at a Barneys pop-up event before the big day. “They’ve already worked on it for 600 hours, and it’s not done.” And the designers weren’t the only ones pulling out the stops for the dress. Famed jeweler Lorraine Schwartz and Christian Louboutin can take some credit for Blake’s look as well.

“I just sent Lorraine Schwartz and Christian Louboutin my dress, and said, ‘OK let’s do something special,'” Blake explained to Women’s Wear Daily. “They’re making something custom for it. So it’s kind of nice, because I have a bunch of artists around me who I have direct relationships with.” It’s safe to say that with all the planning and special details that went into Blake’s ensemble, she could be classified as one of the best dressed of the night.
