Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have always valued their privacy above all things, and the newlyweds aren't changing their ways just because they are now husband and wife, reportedly dropping $200,000 to enjoy their honeymoon in private in Malta.
The pair, and their kids, will be honeymooning and working as they film their new movie, By the Sea, for two months on the small island of Gozo, right off the coast of Malta.
And to get some shots for the film minus the residents, and not be bothered when they're enjoying the honeymoon part of the trip, they are actually offering up cold hard cash to get folks off the island.
“A lot of people have agreed to leave the island so that they can have privacy to film the movie,” a source tells Page Six. “The set is being built there to recreate the French Riviera.”
As we mentioned above, the cost of $200,000 may just make this the most extravagant honeymoon ever, though the gallery below features a few celeb couples giving Brangelina a run for their money. Literally.
