It’s Britney, b*tch — and don’t you forget it.
Days before she is set to slay the stage for her first-ever concert in Tel Aviv this weekend, Britney Spears spoke with an Israeli TV show and revealed that she gets particularly peeved when fans assume that she lip-syncs during her concerts.

“I’m glad you’re addressing this question because it’s really funny — a lot of people think that I don’t sing live,” the superstar, 35 — who headlines her own show in Las Vegas — said. “Because I’m dancing so much, I do have a little bit of playback, but there’s a mixture of my voice and the playback.”
She added, “It really pisses me off because I am busting my ass out there and singing at the same time and nobody ever really gives me credit for it.”

Britney’s admission comes just weeks after an Auto-Tune-free version of her 2003 track “Toxic” leaked online, proving that the Grammy winner does indeed have a great voice. And last summer, a throwback video of the pop diva singing live at a 1998 talent showcase in Singapore also hit the Internet.
In the clip, a teenage Brit-Brit belts her heart out as she presents material from her debut album, …Baby One More Time, for record execs — who were most likely blown away by her powerful lower register and spirited riffs.
Britney’s manager Adam Leber has previously defended her use of prerecorded backing tracks during her shows. "To put on the show that she puts on, it's virtually impossible to sing the entire time and do what she does," he told Medium.co in 2014. "She's singing on every song, basically, when she has the ability to sing. There's no way you can dance for 90 minutes straight and sing the entire time."
