Britney Spears got the music world excited on Thursday night when she held a private listening party at will.i.am’s studio in LA to preview her upcoming album, Britney Jean.
And Life & Style has all the details inside the event!
Andy Cohen hosted the bash and kicked it off by asking Britney — who looked fit in black pants and a sleeveless top and was joined onstage by will.i.am – why her eighth studio album is so personal to her.

The 31-year-old mother of two previewed four of the 10 tracks on the album. Andy debuted the mid-tempo “Alien,” which chronicles Britney’s very publicized life. “She whispered to Andy that it’s her favorite record off Britney Jean because sometimes she feels ‘alienated, shy or nervous,’” the eyewitness tells the mag.

Andy then played Brit’s destined-to-be club-bangers “It Should Be Easy,” featuring will.i.am and “Tick Tick Boom,” featuring T.I. and another midtempo number “Don’t Cry.”
“Britney couldn’t stop smiling when they played ‘Tik.’ Her face really lit up — and even will.i.am was dancing throughout it!” shares the onlooker.
But it wasn’t exactly a comfortable night for Britney.
“She told the crowd that she’s really shy and it’s awkward to sit on a stool and watch people listen to your music,” says the eyewitness. “She said she’d be more comfortable performing it instead!”
