Britney Spears is arguably the most famous pop star on the planet, but that doesn't mean she likes to be photographed.
Covering the new issue of Vegas Player in an plunging glittery long-sleeved leotard, Britney reveals inside why she sometimes wears the same outfit twice and how she's busy preparing for her much-anticipated Las Vegas shows.
"This is the thing. I’m actually really shy. I don’t like having my picture taken. I don’t like the attention, but it’s something that comes with success," she explains. "I’ve accepted the paparazzi are going to be there; I just try to wear the same thing every day so I become uninteresting.”
Britney Spears' Younger Sister, Jamie Lynn, Announces Comeback With December Concert
Though the 31-year-old — whose eighth studio album Britney Jean hits stores Nov. 29 — isn't exactly comfortable with her personal life being on display, she's more than confident on a stage in front of millions.
On Dec. 27, she'll kick off her Sin City residency, Britney: Piece of Me, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. She'll perform 96 concerts over the next two years. So why did she decide to give it a go?
“When you tour, it’s so hard on the body,” she says. “I look back and I don’t know how I did it. Being in one place is cool. It’s a more stable environment."
And that goes the same for her two sons, Sean Preston, 8, and Jayden, 7. She intends to have the boys visit her on occasion.

“Whenever I do a show, I’m really keen on making it a show. I love to dance and perform," she says. "Because it’s Vegas, I want to do something different. This is the perfect place to bring it to the next level.”
Britney also reveals that she can relate to young stars like Miley Cyrus, whose every move is under a microscope. Her advice?

“It’s important to have a group of people around you who can keep you down to earth,” shares the "Work B---h" singer. “It’s a mind-altering experience when you become a pop star at such a young age.
