In 1976, when Bruce Jenner was winning the Olympics, posing on the cover of magazines, and being looked at as a sex symbol for women all over the country, the 65-year-old reportedly already knew he was meant to be a woman.
According to 'TMZ,' the reality star has explained to his family — including daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner — that he's struggled with his gender since the age of five.

Although Bruce has been keeping his desire to be a woman a secret for nearly 60 years, he's never once "been female" in front of his family.

On top of his gender identity issues, the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star has also been reportedly struggling with depression ever since his involvement in a car accident that left one person dead — and because of that, his alleged surgery to officially become a woman has been put on hold.
“Grief doesn’t even touch it,” an insider told 'In Touch.' “He is devastated, and in so much fear that he can barely talk. He knows there is a very real chance that he could go to jail.”
