After suffering severe facial injuries from falling in 2018, Carrie Underwood warned fans that she wouldn’t look “quite the same.” However, the singer looks absolutely flawless these days. Life & Style exclusively spoke with a plastic surgery expert about how she could possibly achieve such a beautiful result after scarring.

“There are many ways to improve scars to help smooth the contour, blend the color and reduce shadowing,” New York-based plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer, who has not treated Carrie, 36, explained. “At my office, we treat scars with laser, microneedling, topical treatments, injecting medications and using dermal filler to smooth the contour.”

It’s no secret that the “Southbound” artist is naturally stunning, but some have theorized that she had a few more procedures done after her horrific accident. “Carrie went into hiding after her fall, so we know she’s extremely self-conscious about her looks. It wouldn’t surprise me if she had work done,” an insider exclusively revealed. “She’s gorgeous as is and didn’t need it, but if it makes her feel better, that’s all that matters.”

“Her face looked different,” a second source divulged exclusively. “It was so smooth, like it was marble, and she seems to have fillers in her cheeks, especially between the cheek area and under her eyes.”

Dr. Shafer noted that the songstress could have gotten some enhancements done to achieve her glowing appearance. “She has nice cheek definition and fullness, which may indicate dermal filler such as Voluma, which is great for instant cheek augmentation. She also has nice, smooth skin, which is often enhanced by Botox,” the expert added.

Fans were shocked when it was revealed that the blonde beauty had taken a “hard fall”  outside her Nashville home in November 2018. The accident left her with a broken wrist, and her facial injury resulted in 40 to 50 stitches.

“Even though I’ve had the best people helping me, I’m still healing and not looking quite the same,” the seven-time Grammy winner wrote on Instagram. “When I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different.”

After the incident, she tweeted to let fans know she was OK and had Mike Fisher, whom she called the “best hubby in the world,” by her side.

We think you look beautiful, Carrie!
