This news is bound to hit Maddie Ziegler fans hard!
According to a new report, Season 6 of Dance Moms will be the 13-year-old’s last as she hopes to pursue more acting roles.

A source says Maddie has already been cast in a feature film called Sister written by frequent collaborator Sia, who is also set to direct.

“Acting is something she’s really excited to pursue and [Maddie] is in high demand,” the insider tells Us Weekly. The teen also just wrapped a movie called The Book of Henry costarring Naomi Watts, Lee Pace and Sarah Silverman.
Dance Moms will certainly not be the same without Maddie, who has been on the show since the very first season in 2011 — and won nearly every dance competition she entered!
