They're baaack! MTV's Catfish announced the premiere of Season 7 on Dec. 11, and one week later they gave Life & Style an exclusive first look at the intense upcoming season. We can already tell it's about to get wild! "Hosts Nev Schulman and Max Joseph head to Los Angeles to detangle the deepest, darkest Catfish webs in franchise history as they track down online daters and bring them face-to-face for the first time," says MTV. Watch the crazy teaser video below!

The heart-pounding hit show will officially premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 10 p.m. EST/PST, and if you thought they were running out of creeps to expose, you were dead wrong! "We originally thought in Season 1 that Catfish would go away quickly, but in fact it's just gotten worse," Max begins. "30 million fake profiles on Facebook just this year. What does that tell you about where we're at?"

"You can't trust yourself, you can't trust your friends, you can't trust the president, you can't trust the news… who do you trust?" asks Nev. Dang, we sense drama's a-brewin'! The tense trailer urges viewers to "seek the truth," and we're on the edge of our seats waiting to see how Season 7 unfolds!

Not only will more secrets be exposed than ever before, but "for the first time, Nev will take his investigations home with him and let audiences meet his wife, Laura, and one year-old daughter, Cleo," says MTV. "From protecting his nest, to exploring strangers’ online romantic relationships, audiences will get to see how Nev’s work impacts his family life."

Catfish is now in it's 5th year since premiering on MTV in September 2012, and it seems like every season gets better than the last. There are only a couple weeks left in 2017, but if you can't wait for the new season, all of the old episodes are available to stream on Hulu right now. We know what we'll be doing over the holidays — binging some of the craqziest epsiodes before the big premiere on Jan. 3!
