The actress officially filed papers on April 20, 2015, and Chris, 38, was served with the legal docs a month later. But because their case has laid dormant for nine months, Gwyneth may be eligible for a default judgment, which means she'd get what she asked for in the petition.

According to TMZ, the 43-year-old blonde beauty wants joint custody of the couple's two children. But the duo could be working out a settlement in private, which would include the division of their considerable assets.
As you may remember, the pair originally split in March of 2014 after 10 years of marriage.
"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate... We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner," Gwyneth famously wrote at the time of the split.
