“I’m like, ‘I’ll put that [witch hat] on and jump on a plane and go to New Orleans,’” Connie, 46, shared. “Yes, I would do that. As long as we can figure it out with both productions, I’m in. I hope it happens.”
Connie starred in the first season, which followed a family living in a haunted home. She played matriarch Vivien Harmon. McDermott played her husband and Taissa Farmiga portrayed her daughter. Farmiga returned to AHR this season.
The thriller is an anthology series, with each season being described as a miniseries. The second season, titled American Horror Story: Asylum, saw the return of Lange and Evan Peters.
She also discussed Friday Night Lights, the TV show she starred on for five seasons from 2006 – 2011.
When asked if she’d reprise her role of coach Eric Taylor’s wife, Tami, for a movie, she said she’s on board.
“Tami Taylor is in, because I felt like I could have lived in that character forever. And, most importantly, Tami Taylor would be on board assuming and trusting that it’s a great script.”
