<p><span></span><strong>Connor Paolo</strong> is saying goodbye to <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=gossip%20girl&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><em>Gossip Girl</em></a> -- and he tells <em>Life & Style</em> that he's more than ready to leave the Upper East Side drama behind. "I'm not into missing things," reveals the actor, who played Eric van der Woodsen, the brother of <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=blake%20lively&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Blake Lively</strong></a>'s character, in the CW series.</p>
After he announced that he'll be moving from NYC to California to play a regular on the new ABC drama Revenge, Connor, 21, opened up at the TCAs in Beverly Hills last week about his decision to switch coasts and series. "It's about timing in my life," he says. "I was younger then -- I'm out of school now, and I'm at a point where I feel like I can commit fully to the show. Eric didn't necessarily feel like the part to do it for and this does."
Although Connor tells Life & Style he may miss his Upper East Side friends, he also says he's ready for a new adventure. "It's a new chapter," he says. "I try to never look back, and I'm really in love with this character, and I'm happy to be here."
Connor's thriller series Revenge premieres in the fall.
